Why should I start my sale with an offer in hand?

Starting with an offer in hand gives you control with a cash offer that you can activate whenever you like. The cash offer enables you to skip showings and choose your own moving date. Or you can list for more and use the cash offer as a backup plan.

How does Social Real Estate set the current value of my home?

We'll compare your homes' size, location, improvements and overall condition to other recent sales to show you what can be expected from your home if you sold it today. We call that Today's Value.

How does Social Real Estate decide how much to pay for a house?

We make a fair cash offer based on Today's Value of your home. Our cash offer includes all fees, commissions, and costs to provide a cash price which you receive (no deductions, excludes your legal fees) if/when you activate the offer.

How does the profit share work?

We make the homes we buy show their best with professional staging, and the right improvements such as better lighting, new paint, flooring or whatever else makes sense. We invest in the property to maximize the resale price. Whenever we achieve a sale price that exceeds Today's Value, we share that profit with you 50/50, less our improvement costs.

How long do I have to accept the cash offer?

You can accept our offer whenever you want. The offer price is honored for 30 days. If you decide to activate the offer in longer than 30 days we'll update the value for you.
